Amelia will give a talk entitled “Electric interspecies interactions” for the Departmental lecture series 2015/16 at the Biology Department, University of Southern Denmark. The 1 hour lecture is followed by drinks, snacks and hopefully lots of very interesting discussions.
Amelia will introduce the projects in our lab at the Nordic Center for Earth Evolution group meeting on Monday November 23rd.
We are looking for a lab technician to assist our lab with studies on microbial electrosynthesis and microbial influenced iron corrosion. By the end of the year the group will consist of 2 PhD students, 1 postdoc, and the PI. We expect an academic technician and a lab technician to join us as well in 2016. Please apply online here

Amelia was invited to give a talk about interspecies interactions based on direct electron transfer at the congress of the Danish Microbiological Society which takes place on the 9th of November in Copenhagen.
